Abstract

Rated as the eighth friendliest nation towards travelers, Tourism is a hidden opportunity for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently reeling from the effects of decades of war and economic reconstruction, tourism could be an opportunity to pull the country out of their slow economic development into being a fast-paced European nation. This study is based on prevailing economic trends that encourage economists and strategists to take adequate measures to identify features and set up suitable infrastructure that will propel the country towards being the top tourist destination set in the Balkan Peninsula.
