Abstract

Urban planners think that cities have a spirit besides an identity. For this reason, most of the cities in the world come to the fore with their specific branches in the fields of fashion, commerce, finance and education. But, this situation is overshadowed by the fact that districts and villages are at the forefront instead of cities in Turkey. Tourists’ staying in the city centers of tourism centers for a short while does not always contribute to the city’s economy. This situation causes local administrators and the public to produce various solution proposals. This study will
reveal the contribution of the recreational park area in Güneysu, which is an area of gastronomic tourism that provides an important opportunity for the development of cities in terms of tourism, and the service of the designed area. In addition, a number of suggestions on the subject will
be developed in the study.
